Simple Vegan Country Potatoes

Whenever I invite friends or family over in the summer, what better to do than to BBQ? And when you BBQ you need fitting sides to match your juicy meat or sausages. Here’s a simple solution and I don’t know anyone who would refuse it.

Let’s start cooking…

Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients for 2 portions:

  • 400 gr potatoes
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp tabasco
  • 1 tsp paprika powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp curry powder (optional)


  • Chopping board
  • Kitchen knife
  • Baking tray
  • Parchment paper
  • Large mixing bowl


Preheat your oven to 220°C. Wash your potatoes well because you are going to leave the skin on and cut them into wedges. Throw all your ingredients into the mixing bowl and stir  either with a spoon or your hands. I prefer hands since it’s faster. Now line your baking try with parchment paper and spread out your potato wedges onto the baking sheet. Make sure that the skin of each of your potato wedges is facing downwards and is touching the baking tray, this way you’ll get the sides without skin extra crispy. Then shove your baking tray into the oven for about 30 to 35 minutes. Lecker smacker!
