Healthy Sticks

Ok here’s a healthy alternative to chips, popcorn and┬ábread. It substitutes as an appetizer, a snack or even a main course if you’re looking for a healthier lifestyle at the office. It’s simple as well. You don’t even have to know how to use a stove. Veggie sticks with dip is such a simple and easy solution if you’re out of ideas. Even a kids birthday party can’t miss out on the fun. It’s colorful and an eye catcher at that. And if you are a person who cares about carbs, then this beauty is the right choice!

Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients for 2 portions as a meal (or 6 portions at a party):

  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 2 carrots
  • 250 quark
  • 100 gr sour cream
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp dried Italian herbs (or any herb your prefer)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Utensils:

  • Mixing bowl
  • Chopping board
  • Kitchen knife
  • Peeler

ToDo:

Wash, peel (if necessary) and cut your veggies into sticks. And as for the dip just mix all the ingredients (except for the veggies of course ;)) together and you are good to go! Lecker smacker!
