Homemade Pizza

The simplest thing you could make that would definitely satisfy everyone you invite over or “have” to cook for is pizza. I don’t know a single soul in my life that does not enjoy a slice of cheesy hot pizza. It comes in different forms and with different toppings. You can adjust to everyone’s liking no mater if they are vegetarian, vegan or lactose intolerant. It always works. Here’s an idea boost for you guyz. I am having a vegetarian pizza.

Allora, let’s start…

Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients for 2 portions:

  • 2 portions homemade pizza dough
  • 70 ml simple tomato sauce
  • 200 gr grated mozzarella (or any cheese you prefer and if you are vegan then just substitute with vegan cheese)
  • 30 gr spinach leaves
  • 4 cherry tomatoes
  • 50 gr zucchini
  • 50 gr bell pepper
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Utensils:

  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Chopping board
  • Kitchen knife
  • Rolling pin

ToDo:

Preheat your oven to 220°C. Cut up your vegetables into whatever size you prefer. I personally like my cherry tomatoes in halves and zucchini lengthwise in quarters and then 1 cm slices. My bell pepper should be in thin slices and the spinach leaves should be precooked but I often just use frozen spinach leaves that already come precooked. And last but not least, I enjoy crying over thin slices of onion. Now line your baking sheet with parchment paper and just roll out your dough onto your baking sheet. Next spread your tomato sauce over your dough followed by sprinkling your cheese evenly on top. Now spread out the rest of the ingredients and you’re good to go. Add a finishing touch by sprinkling some dried oregano and salt and pepper to taste. Stick your pizza into the oven and reduce the heat to 200°C. Let your pizza bake for about 25 to 30 minutes. Always keep an eye on your goods so they don’t burn. Lecker smacker!
